twenty-some

Harijadi ke 26 beberapa waktu lalu bagi saya menjadi salah satu bagian dari turning point di mana saya semakin menyadari bahwa: semakin bertambah bilangan usia, semakin independen manusia menentukan pilihan hidupnya, serta seharusnya semakin besar pula tanggung jawab yang diembannya.

Bertambahnya usia, somehow, juga mengajari saya bahwa koneksi kita dengan banyak orang menjadi tidak terlalu dalam. Yes, maybe we have many Whatsapp group, we have many contacts in our phone, but, it’s not mean that we are fully connected with them. People who have same ages with me have their own problem, in their own world.

Hence, family comes first.

After that, people who see you  directly more often, talk active with you, share the same problem in the same area, have a stronger bond than other.

dua orang di sebelah saya (keduanya milad juga di bulan Maret), mengajak saya berbagi syukur dengan berbagi tumpeng di pengajian ibu-ibu 🙂

And, there are people who always be in your prayer: even they are not in your sight, you connected to them. I can’t explain more about it. But i’m sure you can feel it. 🙂

Pergi jauh dari tanah kelahiran pun bagi saya menjadi momen di mana saya bisa merenungkan kembali posisi keberadaan saya di dunia ini. Di mana variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi keputusan saya jauh berkurang, dan lebih berfokus pada what’s next? get some challenges to prove that you actually twenty-some-year-old woman! 

Waktu kita terbatas, memilih yang benar-benar prioritas menjadi keterdasakan yang niscaya. Ah, saya jadi ingat sebuah puisi yang digubah oleh Robert Frost, seorang penyair Amerika,
